Bloodfever, a Mackayla Lane novel, book #2

Karen Marie Moning has brought on, yet again, a good story to the Mackayla Lane series. Ask anyone, I love series, and this series is the one of many that I read. I have them all, but only read up to #2. I know, it has been a while, but, hey, I am doing awesome in school and miss b is doing awesome in expanding her horizons :)
Anywho, the text in the back of the book says:

"In her fight to stay alive, Mackayla must find the Sinsar Dubh - a million-year-old book of the blackest magic imaginable, which holds the key to power over the worlds of both the Fae and Man. Pursued by assassins, surrounded by mysterious figures she knows she can't trust, Mac finds herself torn between two deadly and powerful men: V'lane, the immortal Fae Prince, and Jericho Barrons, a man as irresistible as he is dangerous.
For centuries the shadowy realm of the Fae has coexisted with that of humans. Now the walls between teh two are coming down, and Mac is the only thing that stands between them."

How can you resist? Yeah, Barrons is an ass . . . but, man, he is hot. I recommend this book to all the females (and males) out there who love reading about women kicking ass, got fae's, mystery, blood and gore.
To let everyone know, you cannot read this book or any other books in this series unless you read the first one of the series: Darkfever. I got Bloodfever for my first book of the series and I was completely lost. So of course, I had to read the first one, and I LOVE IT!!!
If you like Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series, and you like the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison you will love this series . . . fae's and magic . . . what more can you ask for?
SPOILER ALERT!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS FAR SKIP DOWN TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH!!! Mac and Barrons almost go at it, but not quite . . . that is the only thing that is missing . . . I'm rooting for the both of them to get together . . . they already fight like they are an old married couple . . . hehehehehe

Ok, now that that has been lifted off my chest, here is more information on the Fever Series along with her Highlander Series: http://www.karenmoning.com/kmm/
